Your company pays the rest of the monthly premium. If you leave and pick up COBRA, you'll be responsible for the $300 plus what your company is chipping in. There's no set amount that a company contributes to the premium so it's hard to say how much COBRA would cost.
Keep in mind that COBRA is only a temporary solution.

There is no way to tell without more information.
If you are a healthy young male, you can probably get individual health insurance (not Cobra) for $150.
If you are unhealthy, or a female who needs maternity coverage, the premiums are going to be from $300 to infinity.
You can't determine what an individual rate would be based on what you currently pay in a group. In some cases, you could be healthier than the average person in the group, and therefore be able to lower your premiums with an individual policy. However, if you are unhealthier than the average person in the group, you're better off staying with the group's rates.
Talk to several agents in your area and see what your options are.

The same $300, plus whatever amount the employer is contributing - could be nothing, could be $700 a month or more if you're on the family plan - plus an extra 2% for administration costs.

Anywhere from $350 to $500 or more. COBRA is usually more expensive.
