It will take some time. They are always a little worried when a new dog comes into the home, but little by little the older one will adapt.
My older 3 have just about fully accepted my 5 month old pup now. To start with the eldest 2 would just run and hide when he got too near. The 1 year old adapted much quicker. Now they all sleep together, play together and just love each other. I'm sure it will be the same for you.
In the meantime make sure the older dog never gets to feel left out. Make sure he is always fed first, gets treats first, cuddle first etc. After all he's used to being #1. He has to know the little one won;t change your love for him.

Because the older one is "head of the House" he will feel obliged to teach her how to be polite in the house. He may growl a little to teach her manners or lightly nip her to teach her to respect him. It's the way of dogs.As long as he doesn't get vicious or try to hurt her.Just make sure they get equal loving, and that there are toys for both of them.

It's like how my dogs were when I brought my pomeranian home, the 2 year old dog thinks you're trying to replace him. You should spend some time with your 2 year old.

They are just beginning to adjust.. continue to love them both and include them both.. they will be fine.. keep the older one's stuff separated for a while though so there are not any possessiveness' issues. good luck!

I think it is going to take time to adjust for them and the 2 yr old will accept her in time . you need to relax and let things happen naturally . they will get used to each other . good luck .
