Ok- here is the deal. My boyfriend and I have been together for going on 4 years. We do not fight that often but when we do he says a lot of things he does not mean. And he just snaps, and it kills me, I cry and so on... but after that, we are fine. We get in fights about stupid things and then 20 minutes later we are fine. Even after he says a lot of ugly things, such as name calling. I have tried to talk to him about it, but he gets it honestly from his mom... what should I do? He knows he has a problem, but it is so hard to deal with everytime we fight.

Since his mom is like that, then he obvioulsy learned it from her and will be like that forever unless he seeks therapy. Plus his kids with follow in his footsteps, so my advice is to get out of the relationship and find someone who is more stable and doesnt have messed up parents. Good luck :)

You have to talk to him in a different way.Be more drastic. You should use more power full words and be real mean.He must understand once and for ever.Be clear. This is the last chance. If you don't grow up this is the end.Just do it.
