Peach Pie, I want to first thank you very much for serving this country in the US Army. God Bless you†
To answer the question. Running in the morning is the best thing for your body. As you have not eaten yet, so your body will burn off more fat from your body instead of fat from the food you ate. Morning runs are great for your health.
Mentally running helps release negative angry that is built up in you.
I run at the gym on some of there machines, I can not run outdoors as I have some bad knees which are not strong enough to handle crashing down on the road.
Keep running, it does a body good.

I usually go around 5 on the weekends. It is peaceful and I am a morning person. I am glad I am not the only one. During the week it is not practical, so I go in the afternoon but I enjoy it a lot more in the early morning.

I go at 5 before my wife and child wake up. Those with children know how tough it can be to do things for oneself when the house is up. Also, i run in the city and the traffic is much lighter.

Sometimes I go at 7 or 8, other times I go earlier. It depends how hot it is that day. 90 degrees= NOT FUN!!

I do that. There is something peaceful and serene about starting a run at that time and running as daylight increases as dawn approaches.

I used to, before I joined the army, that just ruined the joy of running for me.

I did it once, but it was when I went out and got home at 4. It was magical- or maybe it was because of what I'd taken (; but how do you manage to wake up this early? How early do you go to bed in order to do so?
