Move on to the next guy. It's his loss, not yours.

This is something I think we all have experienced, sometime it's not that easy to let go, Time will ease the pain,it very from person to person depending on the big affect this person had on you. It's almost feels like a death, you have to go through the grieving process but you will soon get over him. Try talking to other people that will help a great deal, the same thing happen to me and I thought I'll never stop thinking about this man and as time progressed it was no longer back down memory land.

Keep busy.

Use your hobbies to occupy your mind. I usually go for long runs or to intense fitness classes with friends. Then youre so occupied with the movements, you don't have time to think about anything else.

Better yet, use your newfound free time to try something you've always wanted to do. Join a club, learn how to.. i dunno... windsurf or something. Then, you'll be keeping busy and you might meet someone new (and better) in the process.

Oh, and I had a guy do that too. He ended up sending me a long letter about a year later explaining how messed up his thoughts were at the time and asking me to take him back. (I'd found something better so I didn't). But basically, remember there's some truth to the cliche "it's not you, it's me".

I watch Sex and The City while eating some sort of fabulous concoction (cookie dough, spaghetti, etc). Make it a day about you. Decide that you will take care of yourself. Draw yourself a bubble bath, paint your toe nails, give yourself a hair treatment, do yoga (which is great to focus on something else because of the physical exertion and emotional focus). I do not suggest randomly hooking up with another guy, it will only make things worse.

Well it takes your own time, but I would find new friends and do something new or even take one or few of your really close friends and go out on the town, have fun, dance and meet new guys at least if you don't find anybody your are interested in, you still can have a great time with your friends. Good Luck and I am sure everything will turn out. :)

I'm going to be honest... be ready, you need to get out as much as possible and meet someone else (it will happen I promise)
You will never forget him, one day you will realise that you havnt thought about him and thats when you are getting over him, but no one can say how long it will take.
You take care and be happyx

i cried almost everyday when my first gf broke up with me for 3 months, that made me a whole lot of bugs. well, just let it be. as the quotation goes, time heals all wounds. youll never know when but at least theres an assurance that itll be over. as of now, cry baby, it good for the eye. just dont get so affected, just cry it out to release what you feel. bye

Maybe try dating some other guys, and it will distract your heart. be careful, because you are on the rebound, and it might affect any new relationship. Go slow, but give it a chance. The heart does recover and love again, even if it doesn't seem like it can.

The best way is to give in to your craving. Ask to meet him and have a meal or somthing. You will realize that he isnt all you thought he would be. He will say something or do something that will snap you out of him so fast.. you wont believe it, meanwhile take care of yourself.. there is soneone out there right for you

well...dont dwell on it. why dont you try dating somebody else? the best way to forget (at least for me) is to get a replacement.
if your next date doenst work, get a new one till you finally find someone you like. do things that you really like instead of killing time thinking about him. maybe spending more time shopping? or go out with your friends.
If the guy doesnt even bother to call you. worse is-he is ignoring you i dont think he deserves your attention. its just a waste of time and energy.

Don't tell yourself you want him out of your mind. By so doing, you are actually keeping him in rather than out. Just let it be and time will pass and you would soon realise you don't think about him as often as you do now.
