5 – yes they are aware but probably give a blind eye to it as they are busy with there own lives
6 – I say more alcohol where I am
7 – preventing – educate them more on the down sides of Smoking/drug abuse/alcohol abuse – hit them hard with graphic images like they show on Aussie TV now

5) Not really. Most of them are in denial.

7) Stop pushing our kids into following our own footsteps and the most important thing a parent can do is LISTEN to our children. Really hear what they have to say. They might be reaching out for help and you are in denial, thinking - not my child. I didn't bring him/her up that way! Show your child how important they are to you. Tell them 10 times a day that you love them and that you will always be there for them, no matter what the problems is. If you and your child really communicate, they won't be afraid to tell you things that you really need to hear from them. Be a parent to them and not always their best friend!

5. It depends on the case. Some of them are not fully implied in their children's personal world and have no ability to perceive them naturally. Others aren't aware. Some are aware and don't mind. Some are aware and do mind, but cannot control their children.

7. compulsory health check ups should be updated by the govt., to find out the persons who use such things. if anyone are found to be catched, then he should be noted and compulsory treatments and councellings should be given to the personality.
