It doesn't sound quite right. Depending on the timing, you could say (while you're actually in the bus):"This is the first time I've taken the bus in Taipei" or "This is the first time for me to take the bus in Taipei". There are other possibilities too.
The reason is, the form "I take" usually refers to a habit and this doesn't sit comfortably in a one-off situation.
If you haven't yet boarded the bus, you could also say: "This is the first time I'll take the bus in Taipei".
Welcome to the wonderful world of (sometimes crazy) English!

no, better is:
That was the first time I have taken a bus in Taipei. if youre saying that it happened in the past but;
This is the first time I will take a bus in Taipei. if it happens in the present.
If youre writing n essay use the first one.

This is the first time I'm taking a bus in Taipei. Note: If it is the first time you shouldn't use I've taken.

It's rather hard to determine your intent, but it sounds like you're really searching for a present participle (something the other answers seem to miss). Perhaps the best correct phrasing would be:
"This is my first time taking a bus in Taipei."
This suggests that the bus-riding activity is still taking place, or is just about to take place.

No. The question we need an answer to is "what are you trying to say?" Some alternatives are below.
This was my first time to take the bus in Taipei.
This was the first time I took the bus in Taipei.
This is the time I have taken the bus in Taipei.
So, determine what you want to say and write your own sentence.
