Help! My Vidal Sassoon Flat Hair Iron won't heat up.....is there a problem with it?

yea its broken. all hair irons break after a couple months. either the cord is messed up or the heating plates are busted. u cant fix it so just get a new one. then dat one will break too.. sry its da sad truth dey dont last for a long time. specially da swivel cord ones (i've owned more dan 10 flat irons now)

Do you have a surge protector on your out let?? Some times if that is tripped then your flat iron won't heat up Check it if not maybe you just used it and it wore out.

probably needs a new cord or the heating element went
