It's okay if the guy breaks up with his girlfriend. It's called "being a man about it." If you don't want to be with her anymore, tell her. Doing something to make her break up with you is the coward's way out. Be better than that; break it off with her, and tell her why (truthfully). You will be one of the guys she will respect in the future for not being a coward.

Never, I repeat: NEVER do something that would make a girl want to break up with you, you'll live to regret it (if you're lucky). If you ever really cared about her, just tell her it's over. If she asks why, just tell her that you don't feel "that way" about her anymore, but don't do it in such a way that it leaves the question open for debate. Tell her that she is a great girl and most guys would be crazy not to want to go out with her, but you just don't feel that way about her anymore. If it looks like she'll try to talk you out of it, just say, "Hey, it's over, let's end this without making either of us regret being with the other, okay? You're a great person, but I just don't feel that way anymore." and walk away.

If you feel that it's just not working for you there's no need to just string her along just tell the truth already and don't make something up to break with her. She'll probably be a little angry but can respect you for telling the truth.

It is because you dont feel the same anymore, but your girlfriend might not realise you two have got to that point.
Why dont you two sit down and you say whats making you feel like this?
I broke up with a girl i went out with for 2 years, she said she knew something was up with us, but the way i ditched her was horrible, so dont be a tosser, sit down and do the decent thing, talk to her first, explain why you feel like this, she`ll be distraugh enough as it is.
Dont just say hey its over, it aint big and it aint clever.

No one is ever "stuck" with anyone. If you need to break up with her do it kindly and with honesty. Don't give any BS lines like it's just not working anymore or it's not you it's me. Tell her the truth and move forward.

There's nothing wrong with that. Guys have right to break up with their girlfriends. But it will be very displeasant to the girl's side if you will be the one who will break up your relationship, isn't it?

dont be a ***** about just tell her that u dont want to be in a realtionship anymore that u hae no feelings for her like that anymore or w/e your reason is no sense of holding onto something making her believe a lie that u want her and u dont
