No, take acting classes and get involved in your local theatre productions. Not everyone is 5' 9" ;-)

Modeling and acting are two completely different things. I really enjoy acting; I could never be a model. Each vocation requires different skills, and while there's a little bit of crossover (both must enjoy being on display), acting requires more than just being on display as the purpose of the profession. Modeling's main purpose is to show off clothes (or accessories); acting is about telling a story.

To become an actress, I'd suggest getting experience where you can (community theater is a good place to start to see if you even like acting), and study where you can (a small college, a four-year university, a school for the arts, wherever). Audition--lots. Chances are that unless you're in a small community, you'll receive more rejections than roles. It's also a good idea to be able to express yourself well in both speech and writing, to be able to dissect and analyze a script, and to be able to improvise when something goes awry on stage.

Acting--honest-to-goodness acting--is hard work, but it's also great fun. Persevere through the work, and you'll get to the part that's an absolute blast!

Not really. Many models would love to be actresses. Not many can actually act. To be a model you need to be able to show off clothes and accessories (or lack of them). To be an actress you have to be able to , well, act. Ofcourse being a big industry model might help you get the contacts for big time acting, but assuming you're not a model now, you'll then have to make it as a model and then try to make it as an actress. My advice is if you want to act, stick with acting.

well... next time you watch a movie, just look at each and every person in the movie, and I mean EACH PERSON and see if they are all models. Lol. I don't mean Baywatch either, watch Spiderman 3. In fact COUNT all humans in the movie and see how many there are.
Do you think you could be one of them? I think I could play possibly 30 parts, so could my mom, my brother and half of the people I know, especially the ones walking down the streets or the ones sitting in the cars or sitting in the bars. Anyone I know could be one off the crowd, no need to be an actor, just stand there like you stand usually..
yes?

that's where you might find someone looking, just put your name down, find other similar places, join them all, good luck and watch some movies looking at the actors, not looking at the movie. It's just a job, you don't have to be the prime actress right from the start, right?

I'd recommend you to study first. Being an ctress is such a risky life. Today you're rich and famous then tomorrow you're not. At least when you've studied, you're sure to have a career. Plus, actresses nowadays must be intelligent too, not to follow the likes of Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan.. No offense but, your grammar isn't so good, assuming you're not American.. You can improve on that by studying.

Good luck.

Absolutely not. Modeling will not help you at all. In order to become an actor you need to act. (By the way, most female actors don't call themselves actresses any more.)
