Wade and Kobe's desire to win, I believe are equal. The one thing that truly separates Kobe and Wade. Is EGO!
I'm not sure who really ran Shaq out of town Buss or Kobe. The fact is Kobe wants to be the man. No matter the team he is on he has to be the main guy. With Shaq in LA he wasn't able to be that guy. Even through the 3 championships, he wasn't able to put his Ego aside. That's what caused the turmoil between him and Shaq.
Wade on the other hand is less ego driven. He is able to co-exist with another superstar. Once Kobe can put his ego aside and learn to trust his teammates. Kobe and whatever team he plays for, will be back in contention for a ring. Jordan had the same problem "EGO and TRUST", early in his career.
Enough said!!

If he was so willing tio win, then he wouldn't do his teammates and ownership that way. HE asked for the chance to lead on his own with no Shaq or no other superstar. Now that he sees that he is not capable of making a team raise its level of play by just "scoring 50 points", he needs to be where there are more stars that can help him dominate.
On Wade, he came in the league on a losing team in a losing conference, and led them as a rookie to the playoffs if I'm not mistaken. Look how he shares the ball with his guys to get them involved. Kobe doesn't do that. And those can make those shots if kobe shows the confidence in guys that they can do it.
It doesn't matter where he goes, if can't learn to make a team better, he is only going to destoy it.

Most of those responses are BS. Kobe is the epitome of what is wrong with the league. Kobe was on a team that won 3 championships and what did he do, complain. He practically ran Shaq out of town, and as far as Phil Jackson, how can you talk trash about a player (Kobe) in a tell all book and continue to coach that very same player.
Shaq went to Miami with Wade and they won a championship and they continue to get along great, because Wade realizes what it takes to win.

I'd say equal.
I'm a fan of Kobe Bryant buth both of them played inspiring basketball, doing what it takes so that the team could win.
I'd believe some people would say Dwayne Wade had more just because they hated Kobe Bryant.
Both players are great, respect that!

Desire to win??? You kidding me, Kobe has the heart of a champ. That guy wants to do nothing but win. I can imagine him crying b/c he wants to win so bad - hence, the recent flurry of Kobe news dominating the sports media. Don't get me wrong, Dwade has a deeply motivated desire to win also; just no where close to Kobe's. To be honest, I don't think anyone in the NBA, currently, has as deep of a desire to win - except for maybe KG, but he values loyalty more than winning - I think.

Over 95% of the players in the NBA have the desire to do what it takes to win or they would not be in the position they are in now. I'm sure they don't want to be away from their families for months and weeks at a time, but you have to in order to win. When Lebron said he would miss the birth of his son if it occurred during a game, I think that goes back to the desire to do whatever it takes to win.

Kobe bryant has shown that he is willing to do whatever he has to do to win, Look at the last 2 seasons, when the team needed points he put them up but when coach said he needed to change his style up for the playoffs he did.
