Smart casual of course. It is lunch NOT formal dinner. Something you would wear if you work in a professional office will do - NO JEANS (as someone suggested) and NO T-shirts.
and NO THONGS! (the aussie "thongs" NOT the American thongs!) Unless of course the lunch is on Bondi Beach then definitely thongs and a stubby holder.
