The Book mentioned in the movie Conspiracy Theory is"The Catcher in the Rye".the guy who shot John Lennon in 1980 carried a copy of this Book everywhere he went and had it on him the day he shot Lennon.
The author of this Book is J.D. Salinger,a recluse who never gives interviews.The Book Catcher in the Rye has sold millions of copies over the years,many attempts have been made to turn it into a movie but the author always turns them down.They will probably make a movie of it when the author passes away,his children get the movie rights to it and sells it for the highest bidder.
