1.Collect facts in a area/place/vicinity how consumers having no realisation of their consumer rights got cheated by bad business practitioners.in other words how retailers, wholesalers,service providers cheated(a novice consumer about his /her rights)
2. Develop instances how they were trapped by marketing gimmics,or by not providing required information about prodcuts/services.
3 Develop background materials for what is consumer rights by providing as follows (just a smaple as example
* right to information about products /service one wish to take
* Right to use safe product/service
* right to protect against unfaire trade practices
* safety instructions about product/service
* right to get product at fair price etc
For each right of consumer provide practical case /facts about how such right is disputed in the business practice by product /business providers.
Develop instances how redressal was sought (through which legislation).In every country for consumer protection legislations are passed (E.G in India about 20 diffrent acts speak about consumer protection process against unfaire business practices)
Develop possible findings of case study & suggestion to insulate oneself(consumer) against business providers who tend to dispute consumer rights in their business practice.
Provide your references to support case study.
Better one may contact consumer forums in ones vicinity to get instances for your case study.

Try the website of Ministry of Commerce, Govt of India, if you are in India. There is a consumer protection act and a separate department is functioning for this.
