I was born in 1990, so I was never there in 1984...

Say the wrong thing, and you're arrested.
Demonstrate, and you're shot down.
Everything you do is monitored electronically, either through CCTV or the internet.
What is more worrying is that we're heading towards a genetically modified world, as depicted in Aldous Huxley - Brave New World.

1984 was a good year!!! Why can't we go back to that??!!!!
