Does the same personality always do the dreaming, if so is it the dominant personality during waking that dreams? Does the personality active when the person goes to sleep generally do the dreaming? Otherwise, if multiple personalities participate in dreaming is it one at a time in their own dreams, can the various personalities interact in a single dream, or can multiple dreams occur at once to different personalities?

My educated guess, would lead me to believe that the dream is not based on or around which personality is dreaming...and that it could be any one of them. i think dreaming is not a product of yourself, or personality, but of situations and stimulis. So, it does not have to be any one personality having the dream...simply, the dream is occuring.

I am never really in my dreams i think.

OR, mayb I'm totally wrong.

=)

Multiple Personality Disorder seems like it must be really common because you see it in movies all the time. The truth is, it's really rare except in countries where it's in the movies. Then people get the idea that it's common. Even the story of Sybil was probably implanted by the therapist she was seeing.
