When we lived in Europe, the parking lot was about 20 feet away from the bedroom. People were starting cars from 5:30-7:00AM, Monday thru Friday. That was when I picked up the fan habit. Now I can't get to sleep without one. Anyone else like me?

Fall asleep, I use a steady sound to fall asleep just as a fountain of something else. As for now, since the weather is hot in the upper 90's it's nice to keep a fan on low and it helps a ton to fall asleep without using my sleeping pills!!!
Try a fountain...
In the winter I used a heater.... hahaha trust me it's something that works. What are you gonna do?

So the fan sort of acted like white noise, cool! Yes, I always sleep with my ceiling fan on - it's comforting and when it's cool in my bedroom I sleep better.

Yea I've gotten so used to the noise of the fan that I use it all year, even if I have to cover up. Been doing it for about 25 years now.

I don't even care if the fan is hitting me, I think I just like the noise! It helps me fall and stay asleep ;)

Keep cool... my husband uses it to fall asleep all year round.... even in winter. This is why I sleep on the couch... most of the time (if you know what I mean)

We both work nights, the fan thing started way before we got married and now he's addicted! It's used everyday, work or not, it could be freezing outside and we still got our fan on!!!

OK,,,,,,,I confess, I am married to a FAN ADDICT. Dead of winter or heat of summer, makes no difference. Yes it is a habitual addiction that drives me crazy !! I long for the nights of complete silence. Peaceful quiet, so that I can at least hear the Burglar if he breaks in !!
