HUH? Is there seriously such a thing as heterosexual pride? What's the point? What do they celebrate the fact that they are what society considers normal or that they all ready have rights that we are so desperatley fighting for? That's crazy!

Pride is about recognising the versatality of being gay. Hetros shouldn't need to have a specific 'day' or 'organisation' of that particular focus as it isn't something you're going to get condemned for or need to justify. So, yes some gay rights activists can get in your face a bit and seem like they are taking over the world! However it doesn't take away from the fact that alot of gay people face discrimination, violence and social ostracization on daily basis - just because they choose to have a partner from the same sex.

You organise an event called "Heterosexual Pride 2007" make it a national or international event and I am sure Yahoo will support it. Go get organising and while you are doing that, let the gays have their one day of the year.

I kinda doubt it! And anyway, I don't think there are all that many of us straight folks who think that just because we have sex with the OPPOSITE sex, this is something we feel compelled to go out and celebrate and honor and make a total spectacle of, as IF this were some major accomplishment!!!!
