Go to a doctor. It could be nothing serious but it could be really serious. Have your doctor examine you so you can know that it's nothing to worry about. It it is serious the sooner you get treatment the better.

Lots of things - anemia, rampant allergies, lack of blood clotting factor, too much aspirin, etc, etc.

Bruising is a symptom of many many things - one cannot make a diagnosis based on "bruising" alone. That is why you need to see a doctor if possible. Sometimes we bang our selves and dont realize it, other times we bang ourselves "not that hard" and our body shows us otherwise (in other words we hit a spot that is easily bruised, like the knee) but if it happend repeatedly, and much more easily than others, it might be worth a trip to the MD

This could be caused by a number of things. See you doctor. You shouldn't be overly concerned (too stressed out), but it shouldn't be ignored. Until the time of your appt, make a notation of the times that you notice the bruising--particularly when you haven't injured yourself.

Young girls tend to get some bruising, but not too much. Relax, it is a phase.
