30 minutes ago when this birthday party came off without a hitch. Old friends who had not seen each other in years were sitting there telling each other stories and laughing as if it were only yesterday. I thought it was magnificent.

Just a couple of weeks ago when I was visiting the Grand Canyon.
The only other time I have been there was 25 years ago for one day and it was full of fog. This time I was there for a week and it was clear and beautiful the entire time (some photos available via a link on my 360 page). Two of the high points of the trip were a helicopter ride over the canyon and an afternoon spent watching the condors fly at one of the lodges on the South Rim. These birds are huge (9 1/2 foot wing span and 46 inches long head to tail, it's like a sheet of plywood flying around). They love to soar and they'll fly right over your head just to give you a good photo op.
Astounding!

About 8 months ago.....I was really astounded at myself.....I got this really beautiful young lady's phone number....and I was a total mess at the time....I mean I looked really bad....it never went anywhere...but I really astounded myself.
