Got tivo, still learning my way around it. Had a quick question...

So, I made up some wishlists, with shows I wanna see in the next few months!

Lets say, 3 shows are set to premiere the same time the same date. What will happen? Will it tell me or not?

I have the tivo that has 2

If you have more than two shows that are starting at the same time then Tivo will record the TOP TWO of your priority list. Once you have shows/movies set up to record you can go into the Tivo and Prioritize the shows Season Passes. The higher up the Priority List will determine which shows will get recorded first.
I am assuming that when you say you have "the Tivo that has 2" you are meaning 2 tuners (Dual Tuners) which can record two shows at the same time. this will be NECESSARY to get TWO shows but not the three.

If you KNOW that one of the shows IS going to be shown at the saem time as the others you can use the WISHLIST with the NAME of the show, then set it up to record the Show whenver it is played. This way if it repeats later that night, or the next day it will still get recorded.

I hope this helps you out a bit, if you have any further questions please feel free to send me an email...

If the three same day premiers are at different times, no problem. If they are, then you can record two on your Tivo and watch the third on another TV. If you try to set up a third program to record at the same time, the Tivo will tell you.

It also gives you the ability to choose to record all episodes of a particular show.

Sounds like your TIVo is not set to current TIVo service telephone number. Go into setup and fix it. It's just a warning. I've never had it happen with any of my units. Also unplugging the TIVo to reset it may correct the problem.
