Like is there any way of doing harsware damage to the system motherboard or any addon for example if i short the pin VCC and GND in the serial port can u give me some idea ???

well the reson I want to ruin it coz its very old Pentium 2 with 64 MB RAM and it work fine but its slow if I dont tuin it my dad wont buy me a new one unless it stops working

Sure, Flash the bios with the wrong update or version. Guaranteed to never boot up again without replacing the bios chip.
I accidentally did that a few years ago.

Well first you said you want to ruin it without opening, and then you want to short some pins. Well all I know is that anything like that is not going to work like you plan on it. The only thing you could really do without opening it is to cause a power surge. You would need to do something like that to ruin a computer. Why are you trying to ruin this computer? Is it to get rid of particular information or to just plain get back at someone?
Well I would recommend disconnecting the processor fan from the motherboard, and that would cause it to overheat and burn the processor up. That would most definately do the trick, but remember where you disconnect the cpu fan from so you can reconnect it when its done being fried. If you do that and then get on the computer and use it hard it wont take long to burn up. Good luck!

The only way to do this is in 3 steps
1) you have to get mad. I mean really mad. I recommend watching a "Larry the Cable Guy" movie to accomplish this.
2) Go up to your computer and start yelling at it as loud as you can. You can call it names, but don't get too mean. Just yell at your computer at the top of your lungs.
3) Pick your nose (dont let your mom see you doing this or she'll yell at you).
after you do all 3. Your computer will automatically go into a deep depression and will automatically drop its own hard drive into the trash and go NUTS.
done.

I'm not going to answer that, because I don't like the question. If you're planning on ruining a computer, think twice. Especially if other people use it. A computer is an expensive piece of equipment, not a toy.
My advice: Let it live.

Hi, You are a nasty boy,But i can see your point.What if you have a little accident and drop your pc and it can't be repair! I would get dad and go and buy that new pc you want. At least you will be updated with the rest of us. Hehe

If your power suply is 110 v (like in US) change it to 220 v like in EU. :D smoke every where... If you shart the serial port like you are saing you will only crack the I/O chip for serial and that if you are lucky because is posible that you will not crack it :)

If you are trying to ruin it to claim on insurance they WILL KNOW; they hand these to experts b4 they pay out sometimes, so they'ss see what ya did
It's also illegal to try insurance fraud
