They need some diversion, some fun, some activity to forget a part of themselves, to escape from themselves, to feel good. All addictions have that in common.

first, they got nothing to do at home or outside the house. so they will go and use the search engine like yahoo to search for some interesting information like funny jokes online and there are website that allows you to watch video without downalod it illegally. then people can just get their information at instant without stepping out of the house.
second, internet is a wonderful invention created by human and this make the human more and more rely on the internet for the information they want.
thirdly, nowaday people can get their information and thing they wan illegally without paying a single cents and then spread it around to other people

It's not necessarily that it's so much fun, but it is an easy escape from reality. And, it is an inexhaustable resource for wasting time that you could be spending at work or something futile like that.

they get addicted to it very easily because they feel like their out in the world getting involved with yahoo, ebay, myspace. When really they dont know their just wasting time inside when they should be out actully getting involved physically in the world.

I wouldnt say people are addicted to the "internet". I would say people are addicted to things that they like.. be it games.. message boards.. and even porn (ssshhhh.. don't tell my mother)

Because they are bored and got nothing to do, besides the tv is getting boring and more commercials are being advertised. With everyone being on myspace all day its getting annoying.

well usually it's just something to do.....if i have a computer i'm addicted to it but if i don't have one near me then im just fine. but it's like smoking or drugs or drinking once you start, it's just so hard to stop you can't stop.
