no. i don't see why coincidence is an euphemism for conspiracy since conspiracy is usually a bad thing (like plotting something behind the back of others) but coincidence is just purely coincidence and involves no plotting beforehand and whatsoever..? ;)

Coincidence describes two actions that have identical features by sheer chance.

Conspiracy is a plan or plot against someone or something.

Is this a conspiracy to see who deserves to win the ten points? Or is it coincidence that I read Yahoo answers this morning?

Those two concepts are completely different. Coincidence cannot be conspiracy unless it's not a true coincidence. So no, I don't agree.

no, its just a good word that has lost meaning. when two events COINCIDE, they happen at the same time, thus coincidence just means the simultaneous occurrence of two or more events.

and scientific data shows that nothing is "coincidental" in the way the word is used today, it is just a reaction caused by an action, which is actually a reaction itself to another action/reaction...its just one large chain.
