Long ago we had a bus accident, people did not now what the do.I was the leader to show them what to do still I was wounded, I don't find it heroic it was just a matter that I had to and had to be done.
I also when I go in a building see where the exits are, always prepared.

Jumped into a lake, after seeing a car drive into it. Lady had fallen asleep, and swerved off the road. I had to swim down to her car door, and break the passenger side window. I then pulled her out of her car, and swam her back to shore. By the time we got there, EMS and police had arrived. They finished up the rescue, and I went on my merry little way.

I put out someone who's leg was on fire.
It was during Christmas, we went to buy our tree and the guys there had one of those big steel drums there. They put the limbs they cut off the bottom of tree in it. While I was standing there one guy poured some gasoline (!) over the limbs and threw in a match. He must have gotten some gas on his one leg because when the flames flew up they somehow caught there and his pants were on fire from his waist to his shoes. Everyone just looked so I took my coat off right away and wrapped it on his leg to put out the fire. It worked.
I was kinda put out that they still charged us for the tree.

Saved 12 older people from a burning apartment building, they said that the alarm went off ,but they ignore it as this went off on a regular bases, and they thought that it was another false alarm. One woman wanted me to save her new tv.that I left there, she was more important

I took a bullet for my best friend when her ex tried to shoot her. I had a punctured lung, a couple of fractured ribs, and I nearly died from both the blood loss and the choking on my own blood. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
