ya it does...and the emotes...well depends on the news, but the news can be "exagerated" sensationalist writing. When they make a big deal over nothing (like the news reporters put bigger more exagerated words to make it sound like u have to worry) but some news reporters r good at the job and don't make ppl worry and actually make u feel sad or happy. But over all most news i watch does change the way i see things.

I don't "watch" the news because I can't control what I see. I read the news stories on CNN.COM or CourtTV.com because I can read what I want.
News that affects me the most is stories where children get hurt. I read a story about a little baby that had been killed by her dad and I cried for an hour, and I was depressed for about 2 days by it. I don't read any stories about children being hurt, and I don't read anything that has something to do with Bush. Those stories p*ss me off.

That depends on what's ON the news... If I see a report that the price of gas is going down (like I did- tonight), -it lifted my spirits. If I see a report about how our "Decider" President- is thinking about further extending the tour-of-dutys of all our poor Servicemen over in Iraq- I pull my hair, foam at the mouth- and hurl "bad words" at my TV set !!! So it ALL depends on what's ON the news... :)

Generally upset and angry.
Which is why I don't watch the news, if I can help it. I can't stand television news. It's all sensationalism and sound bites.
NPR. Newspapers.

depends on what they showed! yes it can make you feel all kinds of emotions.....
I try not to watch it alot!
