Yes you can. There's information all over the web on it. I've done it myself. You need to "be aware" when you're dreaming so that you can control situations in your dreams. Doesn't always work, but it has happened and can happen.

Nope. Your dreams represent your deepest wishes, desires, fears, worries, angers, etc. They also reflect experiences in your life. They can even be influenced by movies/tv shows you watch, people you are around, your job, and more. So if you can control any of those, it might have an effect on your dreams... But for the most part, no, you cannot control them at all. Sorry. Unless you are having really bad, horrible dreams (night terrors), then you can go on medication to make you not dream at all...

I've never been able to control dreams. Sometimes I can subliminally pick a topic or something... Like if I fall asleep thinking about a movie I saw and putting myself in the characters' shoes, when I fall asleep, sometimes my dreams focus around the movie. But it's hard. Your conscious thoughts and subliminal thoughts come from different areas of the brain entirely (Psychology class).

Check out www.dreammoods.com for more info about sleep and dreams, including a dictionary for what your dreams mean, etc. It's a pretty good site if you're interested.

Yep - absolutely. It's neat to do and lots of people are able to. It's called lucid dreaming. Only thing is, it's difficult for a lot of people. It takes a lot of practice for some. Read Stephen LaBerge's "Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming" if you're looking for that type of information. Google him as well; you'll probably be able to find information about this on the net.

yes, you can learn to control them (kinda) using lucid dreaming.

It's a little difficult to learn though (i've managed a few times though). Basically it involves realising that you are dreaming. Once you know you're dreaming you can learn to change things, make things appear, go wherever you want and do whatever you want to do... etc.

A search on Google for "lucid dreaming" brings up these and more.

Lucid dreaming takes a lot of work, but it is an interesting experience.

I have.It is hard but once I was having a nightmare and in my nightmare I conciously decided not to run away from the danger and actually confront it and fight.
