My mother is not of christian belief. She raised me in a christian church though and taught me the ins and outs of it.But she taught me that there are many answers and the one that feels right to you should be the only one that matters. She exposed me to many different belief systems and people and helped me understand that everyone has some sort of motivation and that its not the people who are evil in the world they just have experiences and ideas that change them and how people persive them. Now I am athiest in high school and im hoping to go into philosyphy and religious studies.I have morals and ideas on the world and i have to say I am pretty happy with them.I think the best way to raise a child is with openess and acceptence and with the idea that there are many things we wo't understand.Expose them to the differences in the world and then let them decide how they want to live.I've been homeless before and very well to do and I have seen so many different sides of the specrum. You need to teach them that no matter what you will still have your ups and downs but in the end your choices are what make you in society. Sorry I'm not very organized in my ideas but i hope they help a little.
