Short answer: You are doing great, my friend.
A little more detail: A good financial rule of thumb is that you want to pay at least 30 years into your retirement account for most careers. So if you plan to retire at 60, start your retirement account by the age of 30. Also, living with roommates is a good move financially to share the bills. Good luck at ITT Tech. Study hard. Good for you for reflecting and planning.

Success is never to be measured only by how much one earns, how big or expensive your house or car must be. So long as you have a few useful skills and u don't mind the grind of work, u r on the way to great happiness. Be patient and don' t overdo things. Most ppl attain "success" in life only in their 40s and above. u have, say another 60-70 yrs to live and enjoy life and u can achieve tons of things, so why doubt or worry yourself now?Keep ur nose to the grindstone...

The question is how do you feel about your life ...? You really shouldn't try and quantify your own life by comparing it to others. Nor is how much you make an absolute indicator of success ...
Do you like what you do? Do you like what you study? Are you happy? If you can answer 'yes' to all three of those things then you're doing great!

Don't worry about comparing yourself to others; you are going in the right direction. Sure, a lot of people graduate earlier, but if you are supporting yourself and going to school, you are doing fine and life will only improve.

Are you doing good? You said nothing about any good you're doing. Do you volunteer? Does your life's work make a positive impact on the world? Those are the kinds of questions you need to answer if you want us to tell you whether you're doing good. Otherwise, we can only tell whether or not you're doing well, which is not what you asked.

If you are going to judge yourself by how you compare to the people around you--no.
Think and act for yourself. If you aare going to follow the crowd--you will always be behind the guy leading the crowd.

"We can be fine even when others do not have a good opinion of us. What matters is not what others think of us, but what we think of ourselves." If you think your doing good with your life now then have a full throttle for you are in the right track.

Do you feel good about your life? If you do, then you're doing great. It's how you feel that counts.
