A Bin Laden family entourage of 25 people were here on 9/11 to watch the big show. Coincidence? Bush let them fly out of the country, denying the FBI the chance to interview them. Do you wish Bush had the plane knocked out of the sky?

the question is, why were they allowed to leave so quickly without a thorough investigation. Here are some of the people on that plane:

Here are a few of those who the Bush administration allowed to leave a few days after 9/11:

-The son of the Saudi Defense Minister Prince Sultan, who is being sued for his role in the 9/11 attacks. He has given millions of dollars to al-Qaeda.

-Khalil bin Laden, who the government of Brazil has declared a terrorist.

-Abduallah bin Laden, who was the U.S. director of the World Assembly of Muslim Youth. The governments of India, Pakistan, Philippines, and Bosnia have all accused the Muslim charity of financing terrorism.

-Omar bin Laden, was investigated by the FBI in 1996 for espionage and murder. On September 19, 2001, after they let him leave the country, the FBI re-opens their case against him.

-Saleh Ibn Abdul Rahman Hussayen, who is a high-ranking Saudi government official and stayed in the same hotel as three of the Saudi 9/11 hijackers on September 10, 2001.

While all other air traffic had been grounded for days by the authorities they knowingly allowed the immediate family of their prime suspect behind the attacks to get into planes and fly out at Bin Laden's own request.

But, the FBI's most wanted page for Osama bin Laden still does not include an apportion of blame for 9/11 and there has still been no formal indictment of Bin Laden almost six years after 9/11.

So, according to FBI, is he to blame for 9/11 or not?

no but i think if they had detained them at the airport and used some "enhanced interrogation techniques" on them they would have found osama on 9/12. but then again maybe what they didn't want to find was osama is just a loudmouthed bag of wind that really had nothing to do with 9/11. he was sitting around with his family friends the saudis in riyadh saying "now this is going to be good for business."

I would have been cheering if George W. Bush would have brought back Osama bin Laden "dead or alive" like he had originally promised!

Your logic is flawed. If the Laden family had something to do with it and Bush let them fly without being interviewed, then either Bush is involved also, or he is the most incapable, incompetent, president of all time. Take your pick.

No. But I do wish they had been had detained and interviewed by the FBI. I would have liked to have seen Osama squirm.

One, they were questioned. Two, it was not established that they were in any responsible, three, there was no law to detain family (especially distant family in the HUGE bin Laden clan) because of the actions of one member. Talk about wanting something unAmerican!

No, I would have protested the treatment of people as "guilty until proven innocent when no crime had been proven to be committed by these people).

Why, would you be cheering? Or is this just another way to bash our President?

And mckenzie makes a good point again. You guys should listen. Plus, if anything more was done, it would be you same people whining that there was some illegal torturous holding and interrogation going on.
