women should stop getting pregnant at age 40. many of the researchers tell that most of the trisomy babies or the genetically abnormal babies came from a moher who aged 40 and older. though the cause is unknown. woman should stop reproducing until 40 and above because it can harm the fetus and the mother. for the baby, it may develop congenital and genetic abnormalities, while on the mother, it causes PIH or pregnancy induced hypertension.

I think 40 is too old. Not because of the woman but because by time the child is very active the parent will be old and fragile. They may not get to see their child graduate from high school or college or even their grandkids. Its bad for both the child and parent =D

As long as they can support all their children, they can continue to reproduce.

I think they should continue to have them if they can and they want, but I must admit it is kind of creepy when you read about those 60 year old women having babied, using donor eggs or whatnot. Why would you want to? But I suppose it's their right to. Better than a 14 year old!

Some women want them and can't have them. As long as they can take care of them and support them, I don't think that there should be an age limit.

At the age of 35 and above your risk of having a child with down syndrome, spina bifida or trisomy are higher. Your AFP Test numbers elevate and make you worry the whole pregnancy. I don't recommend it.
