Yeah, but this is first and last name.
Not just a last name like-miller.

Nope, unless your relative is likely to be mistaken for a car, there is no potential for confusion and therefore no grounds for a lawsuit.

On the contrary, unless your relative is around 100, Mercedes-Benz has been around much longer and they could sue countersue your relative and win and make the relative change their legal name due to their copywrite or pay copywrite infringement for their ripped off name..

This is funny - The US is THE country by a very wide margin where suing has become a sport to become rich quickly. What a macabre pastime.

You relatives don't have a chance in hell to succeed.

Are you sure Mercedes Carver is your relative and not anybody else?

Are you sure your relative is affected and not anybody else?

Come on that is very simple. You take the initiative and sue them on behalf of your relative.

Let others see the light.

Regards

No. I know lots of Millers and they've never sued the beer company. They don't have their name trademarked.

Are you sure your relative isn't an alien from Betelgeuse? Always know where your towel is, and don't panic!
