yeah, i heard about that. i havn't read it eather. i read about it on Mugglenet.com and i'm like, sure... whatever. the Mugglenet cast doesn't even believe it... and i know i don't. people think they can fool us, but we are smarter than they think.

how can someone hack into a publishing company computer? they must have protection, and, HELLO, were talking about Harry Potter... one of the most popular books EVER!! and this is the most anticipated book, its the last book, it probably has way more protection than any other book. also, the publishing company could have posted a fake chapter on the book so he could have tooken that!! you never know!! ;D
and about the pictures... anyone can get a picture of anything on the internet and post it anywhere. and if they posted it to 'ruin' the book, then they seriously need to get a reality check. if some people look at that then they arn't true Harry Potter fans!!
YOU ROCK!! you are a ture Harry Potter fan if you didn't look at that, i'm proud of you. many fans would look at it becasue there obsessed with knowing what happens, or they are just so desperate to find out.

Just take this advise... if there is anything posted on the internet about the new book before it comes out don't look at it. unless its posted on Jk Rowlings site or on Mugglenet!! and i would advise you to read the book before looking at anything... cause you could stumble onto a spoiler... which wouldn't be good!!!

have a great day!!!!
good luck!!

It's a hoax. You can read the story here:
http://www.the-leaky-cauldron.org/2007/6/21/harry-potter-and-the-deathly-hallows-hacker-hoax

And I agree... I've already seen a few fake-spoilers. Even though I know they're fake now, I keep wondering if I'll hit one that isn't fake, and I'll have something like "HERMIONE IS POISONED" running through my head the entire time I read the book.

When the last book was released "Snape Kills Dumbledore" was told to far too many fans who didn't want to know the ending before reading it themselves. I hope people are decent this time around, but I'm going to be careful, as I'm sure you will be too :)

I really wouldn't be mad. I think it's a hoax trying to get attention. It's possible, of course, but it's juuuust about time for all the little hoaxes to spring up all over the web.

I completely agree with you, though. I would be horrified if someone spoiled the end for me after I've been waiting and dreading and hoping for so long. (Not that I've avoided that with the Sirius spoiler and a friend of mine that I didn't know reads slow....)

I won't read it. *Salutes* JKR is proud.

Since someone will freak out, no, I don't think it's a religion or anything. Chill.

Yes unfortunatly I saw that also. I think that it is a hoax though. Even so Im going to try and push it out of my mind so I hopefully forget (in case it is true).
I have to say I will be pis$ed as hell if it is true. I dont want the book ruined.

It was in the news.

Somebody broke into the publisher's office and published spoilers on the internet.
