its no use having all those anger and hatred towards a particular person (this person just try to find fault everything from head to toe)
u end up just ignoring the totally as if he/she don't exist.

which is a more painful "retaliation"? to actually get mad and verbally "fight" with the person or just plain ignoring them even if they are right infront of you..

Both your options are verbally abusive. Cutting them off is just as spiteful. To truly win, just stop fighting with them.

I would say ignoring someone is very painful. I had hateful feeling toward someone in my life for a long time, but I had to let them go. The feelings were eating me up inside. All the hate was not worth it.

Yes I have. This person is physically dead to me.

The pain you feel is the let down from this person. It is not getting mad (this does take energy) or the fight. It is the feeling of being let down and disappointed by the person. At one point you realize the person isn't worth it and suddenly they are dead in your eyes. It's over and final. I wish you luck. happiness and peace

I'd have to go with just plain ignoring them...that really puts a blister on their a**, they can see you just standing there acting as if they weren't there in front of you...retaliation sucks..for them

Yes. I just ignore the person. Its useless trying to fight with her. She's very stubborn.

The latter - it will piss them off somethign fierce - it will make them feel belittled - as if they aren't worth the effort of getting mad at....oh yes, that upsets people something fierce. Beides, half the time they WANT to fight - they know how to push your buttons - deprive them of what they want and it will irk them to bits.

I've realized that the people who make me feel that way are not worthy of using all that energy.

Ignoring them may be immature some times, but it is very satisfying to me.

Sometimes it is hard to just put it aside and when people hurt me emotionally there is nothing sweeter than revenge but if you can do it, it is better to just write them out of your life forever and get on with your life.
