No one needs to enforce what your children watch but you. The parent has the final say on what is appropriate for their child. I watched r rated movies at a young age also. Yes it is an R rated movie, and i do believe that some ages are a little too young for kids to see(maybe ages 5-7) but if someone tells me that i shouldn't take my kid so see 300 or Grindhouse cause they are 10, yes i would have a problem with that person. I am capable of determining what my child could and should watch.

There was a 2-4 year old, not totally sure on the age, running around in the front of the theater when I went to see "Saving Private Ryan". It was very distracting!
I think one of the movie theaters in my area imposed a rule that after 7pm, no one under 17 was admitted to R-rated films. No exceptions. I wish more theaters would do that!

I started seeing R rated movies when i was about 7 also. But i was quiet when i was there. Some kids just get too loud and annoying in the movies!!! But i have had the experience with all the little kids in the movies being loud

Oh, nothing iritates me more than seeing underage kids in R-rated films. The worst is when I saw Saving Private Ryan and a mother brought in an infant and her 5 year old... awesome.

when its rated- r the parent should know why its rated like that and they should know better to not let their kids watch R-rated movies because it may contain some features that is not appropriate for a person under age

What were their parents/guardians thinking????? Or the people that let them in?????
Kids are exposed to so MUCH these days- ideas and concepts beyond their understanding that form the basis of who they become. I run myself ragged trying to keep up with the things my kids are exposed to that is beyond my control- on the playground, at school, at their friends homes. Awareness and education, explanations of what they see and hear and the belief system I feel is right for them is a full time job! Don't make them grow up before they need to!

Parents who willing allow that are not appropriatley raising their children...
I think that is unethical!
I would never take my young kids to any R-rated movie !
some PG-13 are bad enough!
