The green WHAT ?
Gonna GUESS you have a monitor with built in speakers, and a GREEN socket.
All that happens is the speakers in monitor don't make any noise.
Blue is the video signal black is power usually.

it wont write or make a squiggly green line
blue pen top -to blue pen
black pen top -to black pen
because there is a very real and
scary chance that you will have forgot
the blue top is wrongly fitted onto the green pen
the next time you go to use it......omg.Sreeeeeeeaeem
a blue mark from a distinctly black pen.......So do be Warned
