No, my dad is a good man, more than my mother deserves and I was never that lucky.

I think my past relationship was almost a mirrored relationship of my folks.
Thankfully, not this one! Learning from my mistakes and having several "omg I'm my mother" moments fixed a lot of issues.

Yeah, I think so. That was a good question...my brothers and sisters relationship is more likely with my parents. And my bf seems to be acting like my dad and me like my mom....

Nope. I'm thankful that God opened my eyes to teach me through them to make my relationship with my spouse even better! I'm thankful for my parents, but they aren't perfect and I have definately learned how to make my relationship even better!
