I need support. Ways to somehow make a difference, join a group, be a true American.
Hopefully, without getting killed in a fit of socialist rage.

So many Democrats, principally the self-professed ultra liberal ones, don't even understand the definition of the terms they are dealing with. For example, if someone is touting a new government program, all they have to do to lure the clueless, hapless Liberal is to present the idea as being the fulfillment of social justice, that it is a program of generosity. Libs eat this stuff up, but they don't realize what is being put before them is pure Socialism.

You may think I am being dismissive of Democrats, but in my experience, Conservatives think, Liberals just feel. I once had a heated argument with a Liberal. When I produced a copy of the Constitution and conclusively proved that what he was talking about was not written there, he didn't admit that he was wrong. He just shot back, "Oh yeah? Well......... it should be!" That is the Liberal attitude in a nutshell. They don't care about reality. They believe that whatever they conceive as being best should be adopted, no matter whether it is sensible, practical, or if it is even Constitutional.

Ultra libs would love nothing better than to control America with their programs of phony compassion, like "nationalized" (aka Socialist) medicine. The Democrats just want this so they can scare everyone into continuing to vote democratic. They will use it as an enticement, and as a scare tactic (If you let those evil Republicans get rid of Socialized medicine, your children will die, and poor, old people will go blind!)

Liberals are the ones who have unruly demonstrations and block traffic. They are the ones who hurl invectives at Conservatives and prevent them from speaking. Just look at what has happened recently at Universities where Liberal students acted like hooligans and refused to let the invited guest speak.

Not sure where you have been but I have been doing this for several years. Communism will destroy our country if we do not expose it.

The progressives hide under nice labels, like progressive, like liberal, like democrat, and they are none of those.

They are Marxists, Socialists and COmmunists. When we tell AMericans the truth, how do the socialists react? In anger correct. Why? They do not want AMerica to know who and what they are.

Sorry doll, but the only change America is making is to the authoritarian right akin to fascism. If you think that equates to socialism, then maybe you shouldn't be attributing socialism to liberals.

But I suggest you take your prozac and goto bed, and make sure you have your citizenship papers on you at all times, never know when the local police driving by you in an armored hummmer will stop, and demand to see your national ID. If you don't have it, they'll haul your butt in as a terrorist suspect. half a decade later when the supreme court demands that they either charge or release you, you'll get dumped back off in your hometown after your home has been forclosed, your spouse remarried, and only the clothes on your back. but hey, at least you can be happy that your side won, just before the next armored hummer stops and asked to see your national ID once again.

Though communism is an authoiritarian form of socialism, and aren't quite the same. Either way, socialism is definitely a bad system. Just look how f'ed up Europe is. Capitalism is the only way.

Trout, If capitalism didn't work, why do we have the wealthiest people and the highest standard of living. Even our poor are considered wealthy to most nations! Not just the ultra rich, but our middle class (the average joe) is on average richer than any nations average! And those European countries and Canada aren't purely socialist nations. They are a blend of both socialism and capitalism!!!

Are you familiar with any of the socialist countries in Europe? It seems to me the Swedes are pretty happy with their govt.
