My ex husband...I loved him so much when we first met when he was 16 and I was 17. We married, had a child and then I discovered that he wasn't ready but stayed with him anyway until he gave me an std. Luckily it was one that could be cured with antibiotics, but I said goodbye to him. Remarried, had 2 more kids and my 2nd husband passed away. I am in a relationship, but we are friends more than anything else. Heck, we don't even have sex and this man knows I am so in love with my first husband. My first husband in the meantime was remarried had a little girl, divorced his second wife because she fooled around on him (karma), then he remarried her because he loved his little girl and saw how much our marriage had torn up our son (I was still married to my second husband at the time), and the second time around they had a little boy, but his second or should I say third wife fooled around on him again (karma strikes again). I can't forget my first relationship. Our 10 years together. The long tube rides together down the comal river. The dancing, the flowers, the way he would shout out to the world how much he loved me from the top of the tallest building in San Marcos. It's been 30 years and when I look at my 22 year old son, he is the spitting image of his father and I yearn for his daddy even more. I wish so much I could say, I love you to Geno...but I can't...because everyone knows you can never go back to the way it was.
