Women have to wear shirts but men dont have too? Its not that I want to walk around without a shirt on its just i think men and women should have the same rights. If a man is allowed to be topless in public, then women should have the same right?

I think I speak for men everyware when I say YES! that is sexist, mean, and wrong and I strongly encourage more women to go topless as an act of protest against this unspeakable act of descrimination! WOMEN OF THE WORLD GO TOPLESS IN 2007!

Even though I wouldn't want to look at a bunch of women's boobs flopping around in public it is unfair that men can go topless but women can't. They seem to think that women's breasts are "naughty" and sexual. Personally I find a nicely toned male chest quite sexy. I agree completely with Cari F. Sexism works both ways.

Yes, I agree, but oddly enough in third world countries women do have that same right. It is only the 1st world countries like the US, England, Canada...ect. that have this law. If you look at the aboriginee (sp?) women or some of the tribes in different countries, most of the women are topless and very proud of it.

Well, that might make a lot of men pretty happy, but as a female, I think I would vomit if I saw a bunch of women walking around topless in the summertime. This is one of those rights I'm glad don't belong to women. I'll take sexism any day when it comes to that.

In a way it's sort of sexist, that a woman could get arrested for not wearing a shirt, while a man could not, but unfortunately the female breast is a major erogenous zone, while the male chest is just a minor one, like the earlobes or something.

i totally agree with you girl! i'm not saying that i want to go out without a shirt but it's kinda just the fact that someone telling you that you can't makes you wanna do it even more. and as for the whole men wearing skirts and dresses, they do. i have a few male friends that were dresses and skirts, they're called goths, emos, or tranies. Theres no law saying they can't

I agree that we should but do you know who would be the most offended and upset about it? Other women. Not because the men would have their tongues hanging out but because other women don't like the sight of bare breasts. If there were no men whatsoever, like a dude ranch somewhere, there would still be a fuss if someone went shirtless. It doesn't make any sense.

I don't think men should walk around with their shirts off either.

Yeah, but men don't have breasts that be bop up and down when walking. Also their chests are not considered private parts. Actually, there are primitive cultures that allow women to expose their breasts, but I don't think you would want to live there.

I feel ya. I find it kinda gross and odd when guys are topless. When it's really hot out it anoys me that I can't with out getting an "indecent exposure" ticket/arrest.
