She still believes in the right wing conspiracy. She's paranoid. If she gets elected the Right will be all over her Presidency. They will expose every Socialist agenda item she tries to push through. They will expose her philandering husband's liaisons. She knows it was talk radio that killed her health care fiasco. They thoroughly reported Travelgate, cattle futures, Whitewater, Vince Foster. She strikes me as a vindictive woman. She wants to get even with Rush Limbaugh. This Hush Rush Bill would be a huge victory for her.

Even if they did "fix" it. What do they want? To pass a law we have to listen. Even if there are more Liberal radio talk shows, where are they going to get an audience. Air America. They can't force us to listen and we sure won't buy the products that sponsor them. If you will recall the Clinton's, when in office used the I.R.S. to silence those they perceived as enemies. I have a difficult time with those of short memory and the things that went on in the White House under the Clinton's. Does not anyone remember the bar bouncer that was part of Hillery's secret police or the suit cases full of Chinese cash that were "campaign contributions".

She wants to deny us our right to the First Amendment. Literally. From Wik:
The First Amendment to The United States Constitution is a part of the United States Bill of Rights. It prohibits the federal legislature from making laws that establish religion (the "Establishment Clause") or prohibit free exercise of religion (the "Free Exercise Clause"), laws that infringe the freedom of speech, infringe the freedom of the press, limit the right to assemble peaceably, or limit the right to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Although the First Amendment only explicitly prohibits the named rights from being abridged by laws made by Congress, the courts have interpreted it as applying more broadly. As the first sentence in the body of the Constitution reserves all law-making ("legislative") authority to Congress, the courts have held that the First Amendment's terms also extend to the executive and judicial branches. Additionally, in the 20th century the Supreme Court has held that the Due Process clause of the 1868 Fourteenth Amendment "incorporates" the limitations of the First Amendment to also restrict the states.
Creating a law barring our freedom of speech thrashes our First Amendment. This is why it was written. Most people bandy about comments like, "I could say whatever I like. You can't stop me because of the First Amendment." Well, unless you are a legislator making a law denying that person, you haven't breached the Constitution of the US.

I think when he said they want to influence it, that means they want to control what's said. It has been noted that Clinton wants to make all the illegals, legal so she can get their votes. The heck with the future of social security and the rest of the people in the US that will not vote for her.

Because 90% of talk radio today is fascist propaganda for the benefit of the Repug Party.
Before the repeal of the equal time laws broadcast media was required to provide time to apposing view points.

Printing hearsay and rumour - pretty sad!
But assuming it is true - the answer is obvious - talk radio is a major source of news to many Americans but gives an extremely ignorant and tainted view of things.
I am personally opposed to a fairness doctrine - I do not think it will achieve anything. But it really isn't too hard to understand the concept if you try.

What she would probably do is to invent a new law where they would be categorized as 'ENEMIES OF THE STATE'. Then she could have them thrown into one of her detention camps

Because she believes in freedom of speech as long as it is her own. Talk radio tends to expose the inconsistencies in her words and actions. Hillary and Obama are both tailoring their speaches for whatever audience is at hand even if that means a contridiction of previous speeches.
