Unfortunately the answer is no. Man is too greedy and too stupid to change. Look at the history of every former empire that fell. History always repeats itself. We have learned nothing from the past. Look what we have destroyed in the last 25 years alone.

No, in order for humans to cotinue to live the kind of life they are living now, humans will never stop hurting the enviroment.

Since this has been going on for years there probably is noway that man can change (not that he is able to).

But i believe that the universe restores its energy (which some people refer to as the end of the world) and life will be created all over again, not neccessarily in the same form as now, but thats just me!

And true, istead of just worring about we should take some action.

not everyone is careless. I like to look on the Bright side of things and give solutions instead of worrying about will happen. if we sit and do this then we will get nowhere.

truth be told in many ways we are finding new ways in keeping the Earth clean, eg. more energy efficient appliances, ethanol, we are doing away with the harmful freon, that we used to use in our cars and air conditioners. however there are a lot of things that still need a lot of changing. we can make the world a better place, but it takes a group effort, which starts with each individual who will decide to make a change in the world. eg. try not to cut down so many trees. instead of building a new house/building, buy a pre-owned one, reduce travel, plant more trees (ecosystem's best friend), reduce aerosol use eg. hairspray or Lysol use the pump sprayer instead. there are many things that we can do to help the Earth. oh almost forgot the fertilizer you put in your grass cut back on that too or don't use it at all.

Th world will always be here. After the last drop of oil is taken from the ground and the last panda is killed and eaten, the world will still be here.

The planet will exist far beyond us but we are doing damage to the ecosystems we occupy. Will they recover? Who knows. We won't be here to see it happen.

I doubt it. Anymore all these big companies seem to worry about is making the big buck. Government and private consumers don't seem to worry about it too much either. It is too bad.
