No, that would not be appropriate. All of Congress and the rest of America supported it at the start... remember? And I still recall the speech in which President Bush warned us that it would be a long ordeal and that we must not lose our determination, our resolve, and our nerve. Remember that speech?
And remember how Hillary and Al and Ted and Nancy and the rest of them waved the American flag and insisted that the U.S. intervene to deny Saddam his weapons... remember that?
No, probably not...
Now, a few years later, after we have rolled up our sleeves and waded in... after we've lost precious young lives and are doing the hard work... now it's time to pull out? Now it's time for Hillary and Al and Ted and Nancy to raise the white flag because they are weary of the burden. And the huge wave of patriotism has diminished so it is no longer fashionable to support our troops and display the American flag. Oh, and there is an election to win in Hollywood so anything we can disagree with Mr. Bush on is fair game...
Is that your "proposal for historians"? Sure, why not? Why should it be any different for this Republican administration?

Knowing that Congress wanted to go to War as badly as Bush did, in fact they voted on going to Iraq and got a big YES, and gave Bush the OK to invade; I cant really blame it on Bush, more the Democratic Media.

No, not at all. The troops are doing a great job over there and we appreciate everything they are doing (I already spent my year with the 101st in Mosul while stationed at Campbell). Anyways, the more people talk about we never should have went, etc... then those who gave their lives did it for nothing in your eyes if you say that.
So, no
