gaaaaayy

if youre too much of a pansy to go through with it then suck it up and atleast dont make the rest of the world suffer with your outward pathetic cry for sympathy and pity

people have it so much worse then you could ever hope to imagine. the ones that whine and toss out suicide as an ultimatem are the ones that havent experienced true suffering

bad times come and go. deal with them. if thats not a good enough answer then im sure you can probably find a bottle of pills or a knife somewhere close by without much problem.

people that talk about suicide in my opinion are nothing more than attention seekers. you wanna know what it means to feel like crap hun? watch news clips about the conflict going on in darfur. talk to a WWII vet. ask a mother whos kid was murdered what their life is like. sit next to a homeless old man while hes playing his guitar for chump change so he doesnt starve.

or just look in the eyes of someone else when you walk past them on the street

quit being so selfish and get a life

Not knowing your personal situation, I can only tell you what finally brought me out of my own suicidal thoughts...

I really thought on the two major contributors to my suicidal thoughts. Then I started questioning the reasoning behind them.

"I'm not worth anything." That wasn't true. I was worth everything to my own self. Even if I felt I was a loser, I was MY loser. I started to not give a damn. I thought I was valuable enough to me to go on, even feeling that life was difficult.

"I am a burden to others." So what if I am? I began thinking that I had every right to live as a depressed loser if others have every right to be happy achievers.

That started me onto thinking that I was good enough and even if I was a burden to others I had every right to it. (It doesn't mean I condone myself to only being a loser, but for the time being, until I can figure my way out of it, even that is ok.)

Today, I am one of the happiest people I know and have been for a few years. It was a long road to get here, but so worth it.

*****

By the way, here's a great way to commit suicide: Go ahead and let fate dictate the way you will die. Live your life until the day your life is taken from you by events outside your control. Isn't that a daring and adventurous way to die?

You might just find it's a great way to live, too.

Much joy to you. I'm glad you shared your journey with us. Please continue to do so because it's worth it.

Rock on.....d

Welcome to life, it will give you those feelings from time to time - it's part of being young. If you stay alive, you will have good times, and bad ones again too.
For the short term, just try to achive something. Could be as simple as reading a book from the library. Buy a jigsaw puzzle and make it. Help someone with something. Talk to a family member, they usually unconditionally love you just because you're family.
It could be that there are people around you who make you feel like you are a loser. Those are insecure people themselves who feel 'better' by making someone else believe they're worthless. Be aware of that, try to see through them, beyond them, and try to seek other company.
Then the second part, "how do I go thru with it", I suggest you enlist in the army for duty overseas...(sorry, kidding).

Edit: the two people below, "PJ" and "Happy Little Moron" have great answers.

If you can't stop thinking about it you should still go and talk to a psychiatrist or a therapist of some kind. Obviously it's not normal to think about it all the time whether you plan on following through with it or not. You shouldn't think of yourself as a loser, people make mistakes, and whatever the reasons you have for thinking so poorly of yourself are probably not true. You're being harsh on yourself. Go see someone, and don't even think about going through with it.

listen you are depressed there is no if;s and's or but's about it. you need to go see a doctor and get on some meds. IT cannot be solved without medication, i know some people says it can and all that crap but it can't. It is a fact, that there is a chemical imbalace in your brain and it needs to be corrected. I have been through this myself, don't take your own life, if you get the right help, believe me it will get better.
See a doc as soon as possible, get the meds in your system and within a week or so you will see and feel a difference.

Old saying..."You can't stop a bird from landing on your head, but you can stop him from nesting"... Suicidal thoughts may come and go, but analyze them and know they are not good and get rid of them... Think positively.... If you think of yourself as a loser, that's what you will become... Know your value, instead, because every human being has good and bad points... where you are lacking, make up for it by getting good in other things and capitalize on those... Do not let suicidal thoughts and beating yourself over the head be at your forefront... If other people put you down, do not take it as the truth, don't accept it...

God cares for you, ask him for help, in Jesus name....

You need to be positve, try and think about all the good things going on in your life. Things may seem hard now, but in time they'll get better. You need to talk to someone, let it out, you can't keep all this to yourself. If you kill yourself, how do you think the people that love and care for you will handle it. I'm down right now, but haven't once thought of ending my life. Cherish the ability to live, keep thinking about all the good things you've done and have in your life. I hope things get better, just don't give up on yourself and you'll be just fine.

Just let those thoughts pass through but consider the possibilities of suicide. The more you want to block out those thoughts, the more you want to think about them.

No one is a "loser" unless they want to be. You may not think so, but SOMEONE SOMEWHERE loves you even if they don't say it--so just think about how much pain and heartache you will cause them if you kill yourself. You need to call a suicide hotline or talk to a psychotherapist. Please get help now!
