Rub or sauce?

I like rub, with a complementing sauce to dip it in...

I think with rubs you get more of a smokey flavor(if you smoke them while cooking) but sometimes they get too dry, so i like diping them in a sauce.

Also, I hate ribs cooked in sauce, because they get messy, and i dont like being stained by bbq sauce...

A home made rub then just a little sauce on top at the end for 90 secs to 2 Min's with the top closed before removing the meat from the grill. have the sauce on the side for people who want extra, but it shouldn't need it.

Rub for cooking and sauce for dunking.

Compromise was the only way to do it in my family..........

I like both, but make sure you slow cook your ribs for at least 4 to 6 hour first.

If I cook them, sauce. If you cook em- however you do it is fine!
