My mom does and I've always wondered why? I asked her and she just laughs, and says "she always done it" I hear her saying things like " Alicia you KNOW you can do this" Sometimes it makes me smile. :)

When I see people talking to themselves most of the time I only here mumbling. I'm just a people-watcher. :)

Yea, I'm a bartender and have been doing it for years...I have a lot going on at once and saying it aloud helps me to remember. So it's become a habit, I don't really care what anyone thinks. I don't have actual conversations with myself, I'm really just thinking out loud, I guess.

Yeah, I talk to myself a lot. Mainly because I'm at home by myself most of the day and I have nothing important to do.

I've always talked out loud when I've done something stupid or am mad at myself. Like, "Nancy, you're an idiot." of 'Nancy, why did you do that?"

I've noticed that I am not alone in doing that. However, most people are unaware that they are talking out loud until it is brought to their attention.

It's weird to admit it, but yeah. Sometimes it just helps to organize your thoughts. I do it a lot while studying and also while planning my day.
