In a very sunny spot. Corn likes lots of sunshine. On one end or along the back.

Sweet corn is a crop which should be planted in larger gardens. Like most vegetables, corn will grow best in areas with plenty of sunlight.

Choose a large spot in your garden that receives plenty of sunshine and has rich, well-draining soil.

When growing sweet corn it is best to start seeds directly into the garden after the dangers of frost have passed and the soil has had a chance to warm up a bit.

Soak your seeds in water overnight before planting them to give them a bit of a head start because the drier the seeds, the longer they will take to germinate.

Plant the seeds about 5 inches apart in rows with at least two feet between them. When the seedlings emerge, thin them to about 12 inches apart. If not thinned, you'll have poorly formed ears.

Sweet corn grows best when planted in several short rows instead of one long row. This makes it easier for the corn plants to pollinate. Good pollination will help your ears of corn have plump, juicy kernels.

Corn needs a lot of water, at least one to two inches per week. A dry spell can stunt its growth so be very careful about watering during the hottest days of the summer.

On the sunset side of the garden. As the corn stalks grow taller, they will shade the rest of the garden less on that side and allow the rest of the garden to take advantage of the morning and midday sun. The other method is to orient all rows of vegetables to run east-west, but you should still put the corn on the edge since as summer progresses the relative position of the sun to the garden will change generally migrating a bit southward.

I'd put it all along the back of the garden behind all your shorter plants

On the side of the garden where it won't shade the other vegetables (usually- that's on the North side).
