more peace

2007-06-21 16:45:54 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 1 0

If only one person ruled the world, would that mean there would be a set of similar rules that apply to the world and not divided up by countries?

I think in a case of self defense and extremists, you go after the extremists not innocent civilians. Sure it would require more intelligence and hands on approach but it's better in my opinion than treating a territory where the extremists came from like all people should suffer for the extremist's actions.

So is that more peaceful or is that more destructive?

How exactly did I come to rule the world?

If I got elected to the position there would most likely be peace as that would imply that the world was allready united.

If not, then there would be a great deal of bloodshed as I took over the world and put all the individual countries in line. But after that there would be peace and prosperity for all those willing to work for it.

Well of course I'd kill off the people I didn't like, but only to keep the peace...so...that's a both I guess. Death and Destruction in the name of peace...so like now...only with me calling the shots.

That's kinda hard to answer. Depends on what the rest of the world is like, how many enemies I had. Just to many variables to answer.

If it were todays world, their would be death and destruction for now, for I would crush, not go to war, crush all countries that aided, funded or supplied Islamic fascists!

More peace. But, I think no matter how hard anyone tried, there would still be death and destruction.

More death and destruction, for a while.

I'd ruthlessly put every resource in the world to work on space travel and matter transmutation. Once they succeeded, I'd volunteer for my own torture and execution, knowing that mankind held the key to ending war forever, as well as the source of most crime (limited resources).

I can't speak for the world, but if I ruled America, I would change a lot of things.

There would be no more marriage, but only civil unions and they would be available to everyone. Marriage would be only a religious ceremony and carry no legal weight.

There would be no more IRS and no more income taxes. Only taxes on goods and the taxes would go to things directly related to that good, ie gas tax for highways.

Drugs would be legal and regulated like alcohol and cigarettes. No more drug crimes, no more cartels, no more trafficking. It would all be legal and available at your local pharmacy. Pot and LSD available at the convenience store. I would take the money saved on drug enforcement and put it all into cracking down on DUI.

Schools would be privatized. People would pay for the school according their income instead of taxing everyone. And you could put your children in whatever school you desire.

No more subsidies for any kind of industry. If it can't stay afloat on it's own, it can drown.

Those are just a few of my ideas.
