Her name is Leann Hunley, and she originated the role in the eighties.
However she has most recently been seen on "Gilmore Girls" as Logan's mother Shira Huntzberger.
She's done a lot of other TV in the past, including recurring on "Dawson's Creek," "Dynasty," and "Models Inc," as well as individual episodes of "7th Heaven," "Just Shoot Me," "Strong Medicine," and "Lois & Clark."
She's a former beauty pageant contestant who has been acting since the late seventies.
