varies depending on local labor rate.
Houston area, your looking at $100-$130.

Ask them to quote the labor hours. It shouldn't be more than one hour labor to bleed the brakes. Most labor is around $75 on up per hour. Parts would be one-one quart bottle of brake fluid.
If they snap off a nipple on a caliper or cylinder this will add time, like one hour or more. Your brakes should be bled every two years unless your system was initially filled with silicone fluid in the factory.
You have to realize how many times you mash that brake pedal in two years time. Bleeding the brakes lets all of the crud (metal) and black fluid out of the calipers and cylinders and it lets new fluid into those confined spaces where the same fluid has been trapped and doin gits job for thousands of braking events while driving.
Good Luck!

I agree with the first answer, it will vary depending on the shop, the area you are in, and possibly your vehicle. I have seen prices as low as 69 dollars (at a chain store) and over 130 (at a dealership).
And the color of the brake fluid doesn't necessarily indicate it's quality... It's not just contaminates you have to worry about, it's moisture, and moisture in the brake fluid won't change the color. You can have it tested and find out if it actually needs to be changed or not.
+With all the expensive brake parts on today's vehicles, it's worth protecting with an occasional brake fluid flush. But if you are doing it every year or two, you are just padding the shops pockets. It's a large profit maker for them, whether or not you need it.

Yes you should get your brakes flushed. especially if the fluid is dark. you will benefit from this greatly, and your braking will improve. Most shops charge around an Hour to do a brake flush. And yes it does Matter what color your fluid is I am an ASE master tech STST certified with 10 years experience do not undermind my answers I ve been to 2 years of automotive schooling been an hourly tech and have busted my *** to get where i am now so please spare me the inexperienced Bullshit. If your brake fluid is dark it means its getting contaminated contaminated brake fluid loses its ability to stop the vehicle under high temperature conditions particularly down hill frequent stopping etc etc also dirty fluid can play havoc on your abs module and other expensive brake parts so flush the system every 60k or when it starts getting dark.

There would be no reason to do so, if your having problems with your brakes, a flush or bleed will never fix the problem, air doesn't just enter the system for no reason, go to a place that does free brake checks, now as far as if you had brake work done and they are suggesting this for PM, then if they actually do flush it figure between 35-50 bucks. Again if you are shopping around for doing this service to fix your brakes, you are wasting your time good luck.

usual cost on this job would probably cost about 50-75 bucks at most shops, but there really isn't a good reason for having this done unless the brake fluid is completely changed colors in it ,that would be contaminates in it,and then i could see changing it,but if your having no problems from them right now its probably not necessary, good luck with it ,hope this helps.
